Job DescriptionAbout the Job:
CrossMed Healthcare is seeking an experienced Surgical Tech - Certified for an exciting Travel Allied job in Kailua, HI. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and medical staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
- Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of equipment and surgical sites
- Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being during procedures
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech - Certified
- Graduate from an accredited school of surgical technology
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
