About the Role:

The Project Engineer position at Landmark Builders represents a first step towards becoming a Project Manager, Project Superintendent, and more. This person will be stationed on a commercial construction site, where they will assist, support, and learn from the Project Superintendent and Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in completion of daily construction reports and related records.
  • Participate in takeoff, pricing, and ordering of miscellaneous materials.
  • Perform miscellaneous hands-on construction tasks as needed.
  • Assist in preparation and implementation of detailed two-week look ahead schedules.
  • Participate in weekly subcontractor progress meetings and regular owner/architect meetings, assisting Project Managers with meeting minutes as necessary.
  • Assist with submittal and RFI processes.
  • Assist in maintaining Landmark quality control and safety standards.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with Project Manager, Project Superintendent, field staff, architects, subcontractors, etc., keeping the entire team informed of project issues and changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Previous construction experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-oriented focus
