Kitchen Operations Manager

Job Overview

The 604 Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled Kitchen Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As the key operations leader, you will oversee food preparation, cooking, and inventory management while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective menu planning, inventory control, and production processes to meet business demands.
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, waste, and inventory levels to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Lead, motivate, and train kitchen staff to achieve high-quality service and productivity.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues, vendors, and customers to drive business growth and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with executive chefs and general managers to develop menus, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Plan and execute daily operations, including menu planning, ingredient ordering, and staffing schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee performance, training, and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in kitchen management, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of improving kitchen efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Availability to travel for training and meetings (less than 10% of working time).

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
