Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Marine Corps Community Services. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral health services to active-duty Marines, retired military members, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, couples, and family treatment/counseling services
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans based on identified problems and psychosocial factors
  • Apply established therapeutic techniques and principles to screen, evaluate, and provide counseling for clients
  • Administer a multi-modality comprehensive rehabilitation and treatment program to deal with behavioral health-related issues
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in one of the behavioral sciences
  • Current state license to practice independently as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Clinical Psychologist
  • Two years of post-graduate experience in various modalities and skills to provide individual, group, couples, and family treatment/counseling
  • Ability to provide comprehensive counseling services for anxiety, depression, stress, violence, and coping areas amenable to brief solution-focused therapy
Working Conditions

This is a white-collar position that may require occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. The selected candidate must be able to work a fluctuating schedule to complete work assignments outside of the typical work week and work hours.
