Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Management/Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Richardson Electronics, Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative power management solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of new power management products, including switching power supplies and ultracapacitor-based modules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient product development.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics and PCB designs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and CAD drafters.
  • Travel to customer locations for installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Mentor and develop younger engineers in design and critical thinking.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in power management design, including energy storage, power generation, and renewable energy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
