Key Responsibilities:
- Restaurant Operations: Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure compliance with Subway's standards and procedures.
- Staff Management: Manage a team of approximately 4 to 12 staff members, assigning tasks, overseeing work, and evaluating performance.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Task Management: Perform all tasks and responsibilities of a shift manager, as outlined in the shift manager job description.
- Staff Development: Recommend promotions, transfers, or terminations of employees, and conduct written and verbal staff evaluations.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Coordinate and supervise staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, as outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Food Preparation: Supervise food preparation to ensure food safety and operations standards are maintained.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform paperwork duties as needed.
- Event Planning: Assist with planning of special events and promotions.
Requirements:
- Education: High school graduate
- Experience: Experience in QSR operations, preferably with supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with all levels of employees. Computer knowledge is desirable.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed, operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register, and perform tasks that require bending, standing, and walking for extended periods. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
