Job Summary

The Insurance Follow-up Specialist Level I is a key member of our team at Rogers Behavioral Health, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement from commercial and governmental payers. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow up with payers to resolve billing issues and secure reimbursement
  • Analyze denials and payment variances to identify corrective measures
  • Communicate effectively with payers to resolve errors and discrepancies
  • Manage and maintain outstanding account balances to ensure accurate reporting
  • Meet position goals and objectives related to accuracy and productivity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of business office experience in billing, customer service, or collections
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Min of 1 year of relevant insurance experience in mental health or medical account resolution, collections, or professional billing strongly preferred
