We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Inspira Health Network. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting with surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
- Ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients
- Collaborate with the nursing team to provide high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Must meet one of the requirements below:
- Has successfully completed a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for surgical technologists
- Holds and maintains a certified surgical technologist credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization
- Has completed an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps
- Provides evidence that the person was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility on the effective date
- Is in the service of the federal government, to the extent that individual is performing surgical technology duties related to that service
- A minimum of 1 year of Scrub Technician experience preferred
- CST certification
- BLS required
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
