Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in body shop management
  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a body shop environment
  • Estimator Certification is mandatory
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Vocational or technical education is preferred
  • Specialized training in the repair and finishing of various truck and trailer models
  • Proficient in using all relevant tools, including welding and painting equipment
  • Valid driver's license is essential
  • Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to specific instructions and safety regulations
  • Must comply with DOT, OSHA, and Penske's safety and maintenance standards
  • Regular and reliable attendance is crucial for this role
  • Willingness to travel as needed and work the designated schedule

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods
  • Regular use of hands for grasping, reaching, and operating tools
  • Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms
  • Capable of working in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to see and hear to navigate a busy work environment safely
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
