Job Title: Robotics Engineer Manager for Isaac Robotics & ML Applications

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Robotics Engineer Manager to lead our Isaac Robotics & ML Applications team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the roadmap for building reference Robotics & ML applications, utilizing Isaac technology, and showcasing production-grade world-class solutions to customers and platform partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the roadmap for building reference Robotics & ML applications, utilizing Isaac technology
  • Develop and deliver production-grade world-class solutions to customers and platform partners
  • Drive architectural decisions and designs to reference applications
  • Collaborate with other Isaac teams to deploy, validate, and extend the capabilities & applications on physical robots and cloud as well as on at-scale simulations
  • Supervise and support the team on design and code reviews (C++, Python, Pytorch and NVIDIA TAO toolkit)
  • Mentor and supervise a team of robotics SW engineers
Requirements:
  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant field for robotics, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ overall years of industry experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing and leading teams
  • At least 5 years of relevant proven full stack robotics experience
  • Hands-on experience with real-time autonomous system project (robotics, autonomous driving etc)
  • Experience in architecting and deploying innovative and capable robotics and machine learning based applications in embedded platforms and cloud services
  • Experience with managing projects and teams of similar nature and challenge
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with techniques in integration of robotics and ML technologies, on edge and cloud platforms
  • Prior experience shipping autonomous robots products
