About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Allaire Dental Care. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and assisting our dentists during procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, including sterilizing equipment and disposing of biohazardous materials.
  • Assist dentists during procedures, such as taking X-rays, mixing materials, and setting up instruments.
  • Monitor patient flow and coordinate with other staff members to ensure efficient appointments.
  • Perform expanded functions, such as taking impressions, creating study casts, and polishing restorations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in dental care.

Requirements:

  • Certification or licensure as a dental assistant (requirements may vary by state).
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
