Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at West Coast Dental. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during various procedures, adhering to all State and Federal regulations
  • Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, following Company policy and HIPAA guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating strong interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Collaborate with the dental team to achieve shared goals, promoting a positive and supportive work environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of recent experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
  • Current X-ray License required
  • Certificate from accredited Dental Assisting School preferred
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish required (if the geographic location of the office does not require the applicant to be bilingual, applicants who only speak English may be considered)
  • CPR and First-Aid certification preferred
  • Infection Control Certificate required

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
