Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain radiographic and mammographic equipment to produce high-quality images for radiological diagnosis.
- Position patients to capture the appropriate images and ensure accurate interpretation of physician instructions and routine procedural protocols.
- Document patient-related information in a timely manner and maintain all aspects of the radiographic and mammographic area to ensure proper quality assurance results.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and safety.
- Provide coverage as needed and provide instruction/mentoring to new hires.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), RT
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (RTR). Connecticut Radiographer License
- Two years of Mammographic, CT scan, MR, and radiologic technologist experience
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
