Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain radiographic and mammographic equipment to produce high-quality images for radiological diagnosis.
  • Position patients to capture the appropriate images and ensure accurate interpretation of physician instructions and routine procedural protocols.
  • Document patient-related information in a timely manner and maintain all aspects of the radiographic and mammographic area to ensure proper quality assurance results.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and safety.
  • Provide coverage as needed and provide instruction/mentoring to new hires.
Requirements:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), RT
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (RTR). Connecticut Radiographer License
  • Two years of Mammographic, CT scan, MR, and radiologic technologist experience
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
