CT Technologist Multimodality Specialist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist Multimodality to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation, providing high-quality computerized tomography images for diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist and position patients on the CT table with compassion and care.
- Start IVs for contrast injection and make necessary adjustments.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
- Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Prefer graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
- Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
- On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center.
