We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist Multimodality to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist and position patients on the CT table with care and compassion.
- Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other necessary procedures.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions and ensure a smooth transition to the next step in their care.
- Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
- Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
- On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Women's & Children's healthcare services. We offer the region's only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care for critically ill mothers and their babies. Our hospital has an antepartum unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a Level III NICU. We have four emergency rooms, including a dedicated Pediatric emergency room and two freestanding ERs located in Olathe and Shawnee. Each year our colleagues treat over 45,000 patients.
