As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Your primary responsibilities will include performing a variety of laboratory tests, analyzing the results, and providing precise diagnostic information essential for patient treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct an extensive range of laboratory tests, including blood collection, RNA extraction, PCR, and various assay techniques.
- Apply your knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately interpret test outcomes.
- Uphold aseptic techniques and comply with laboratory safety regulations.
- Engage in research laboratory activities to assist ongoing projects.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide support in patient care as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to guarantee timely and precise test results.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures and results for recordkeeping.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in laboratory training or high complexity testing.
- Expertise in laboratory techniques and procedures.
- Familiarity with CLIA regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong comprehension of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to dynamic work environments.
- ASCP certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will significantly contribute to the provision of outstanding patient care through your proficiency in laboratory testing and analysis.
