Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc. is in search of a skilled individual to oversee our manufacturing operations. As a prominent manufacturer of specialized steel products utilized across various sectors, including aerospace and automotive, we are committed to excellence and innovation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily activities of staff engaged in the processing and packaging of steel products
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations
- Coordinate scheduling, procurement, and logistics for timely customer deliveries
Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time role with potential evening and weekend shifts
- Overtime may be necessary
Key Duties:
- Assess product quality and determine material handling decisions
- Uphold rigorous standards of cleanliness and safety
- Enhance production workflows to fulfill customer obligations
- Address operational and maintenance challenges promptly
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is mandatory; an engineering degree is advantageous
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of stainless steel and specialty alloys is essential
- Familiarity with machinery operations is required
