Surgery Care Affiliates is a leading healthcare provider, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our PreOp PACU team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced RN with a passion for perioperative nursing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions throughout the perioperative continuum.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures.
  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
  • Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care, implementing interventions to maintain the integrity of the patient's wound and tissue perfusion at or above baseline levels.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide age-specific, culturally competent, ethical care within legal standards of practice.
  • Evaluate patient's progress toward attaining outcomes and transfer care as needed.

**Requirements:**

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
  • Medical / surgical nursing experience.
  • Current state licensure to practice within good standings.
