Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Experience: Engage with patients to provide empathetic consulting services, offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, and ensure prescribed medications are accurately dispensed.
  • Operations: Counsel patients on medication usage, perform pharmacist tasks, and ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies.
  • People & Performance Management: Collaborate with Store Manager to establish expectations, monitor and recognize improvements in pharmacy staff, and manage pharmacy staff performance.
  • Training & Personal Development: Maintain required licensing/credentialing/certification, enhance current knowledge and skills, and complete education credits and training as required.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
  • At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance billing.
