Position Overview
We are offering a full-time postdoctoral role that focuses on the exploration of innovative signaling pathways that influence myocardial development and cardiomyocyte differentiation. The successful candidate will engage in both in vitro and in vivo research methodologies.
Research Techniques
Our projects utilize a variety of advanced techniques, including:
- CRISPR/Cas9 Genome Editing
- Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) applications
- Single Cell RNA Sequencing
- Chromatin Immunoprecipitation Sequencing (ChIP-Seq)
- Confocal Microscopy
- Multicolor Flow Cytometry and Sorting
- Surgical Models for Cardiovascular Function Assessment
- Ultrasonic and Telemetric Monitoring of Cardiac Function in Animal Models
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should possess a PhD, MD, or an equivalent qualification, along with demonstrated expertise in molecular biology, mouse genetics, or the development of cardiac surgical models. We are particularly interested in candidates who are self-driven, possess a strong work ethic, and have a keen interest in cardiovascular biology and regenerative medicine.
Experience in developmental biology, especially using mouse models or induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), is highly desirable.
