Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide personal care and support to individuals in need, including the elderly, disabled, or those recovering from illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist clients with mobility and physical activities, including transfers and ambulation.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Monitor and record clients' health status, including vital signs and any changes in condition.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social events, and outings as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and any concerns.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
