Job Overview

The Automotive Service Technician plays a crucial role in executing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as designated, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards. This position also includes supervising any apprentice technicians assigned to the technician.

Key Responsibilities:

· Execute tasks as specified on the repair order.

· Identify the source of any issues and carry out necessary repairs.

· Inspect the vehicle to assess if further service is required.

· Record all work completed.

· Supervise apprentice technicians when applicable.

· Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions.

· Stay updated with factory technical bulletins.

· Maintain a tidy and organized workshop, ensuring all dealership-owned tools are accounted for.

· Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.

· Adhere to all company safety protocols and promptly report any incidents to a supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

· Exceptional Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) is essential.

· ASE certification or equivalent manufacturer training.

· High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Strong manual dexterity.

· Sound judgment and decision-making skills.

· Authorization to work in the USA is mandatory for all applicants.

· Commitment to performing all duties safely and responsibly.

· Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including background checks, motor vehicle records, drug tests, and verification of a valid driver's license.
