Job Overview:

Remitly is revolutionizing global financial services by building products that transcend borders. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our valuation infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced analytical business leader to partner with our data science team in building and implementing valuation capabilities across Remitly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a best-in-class valuations capability, including complementary products.
  • Collaborate with finance and business areas to gather requirements and identify needs for valuations capabilities.
  • Partner with data science to create a valuations capabilities roadmap and deliver the capabilities over time.
  • Work with business units to responsibly adopt the model into current use cases.
  • Identify greater uses of valuations capabilities to drive business value.
  • Develop best practices for model use and ensure adherence across Remitly.
  • Develop model monitoring and performance requirements; partner with data science to ensure that model performance is within bounds and address when performance deteriorates.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in developing, deploying, and managing valuations models in financial services.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering value through enhanced valuations capabilities.
  • 10+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business analysts, and data scientists.
  • 5+ years of experience influencing senior leadership, including C-suite executives.
Compensation Details:
The starting base salary range for this position is typically $160,000-$200,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our company, and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
