As a Maintenance Team Member at El Encanto, A Belmond Hotel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular maintenance inspections, performing repairs and maintenance tasks, and implementing proactive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, rooms, facilities, and equipment to identify and address any maintenance needs.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement proactive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance emergencies, and actively mitigate risks to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to ensure that maintenance needs are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Understand aspects of plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, fire, pool, kitchen, HVAC, and laundry systems, and be able to interpret blueprints.
  • Communication Skills: Possess effective communication skills to interact with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Be able to analyze and resolve maintenance-related problems in a timely and efficient manner.
