Job Summary:

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Educator to join our Children's Place team in Oklahoma City, OK. As a Lead Educator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and education to our young patients, while also mentoring and supporting other program teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate program that addresses the cognitive, emotional, and social needs of each child, while maintaining a safe, healthy, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Mentor and support other program teachers, including providing guidance on curriculum development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Education Manager to provide ongoing education and training opportunities for teachers and families.
  • Interview and onboard new teacher candidates, and participate in the orientation process.
  • Mentor practicum and internship students, as well as other Teachers.
  • Collaborate with other Lead Teachers and Managers to support program standards and facilitate program improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Childhood Development, or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development with Oklahoma Directors Credential and Oklahoma Certified Trainers Credential.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience at The Children's Place at INTEGRIS Health with a Bachelor's Degree, or 5 years of experience at The Children's Place with an Associate's Degree.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to diseases transmitted by oral-fecal route.
  • Continuous noise up to 90 decibels.
  • Continuous exposure to over-crowding and noxious odors.
  • Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
