Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Lead Fraud Investigator to join our team at GEICO. As a key member of our SIU team, you will play a vital role in conducting investigations of suspected cases of fraud or other illegal activities against the Company. Your responsibilities will include interviewing witnesses, evaluating information for credibility, and referring investigation assignments to outside agencies.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of claims adjusting experience or equivalent experience in SIU/Fraud Investigation. You should be able to gather evidence related to an investigation and draw conclusions based on the collected information. Additionally, you must be able to maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.

This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will work closely with various departments within the company to provide training and support in the claims handling process. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working independently, this may be the perfect opportunity for you

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate information for credibility and refer investigation assignments to outside agencies
  • Conduct interviews with witnesses and gather evidence related to an investigation
  • Draw conclusions based on collected information and make recommendations for further action
  • Provide training and support to other departments in the claims handling process
