About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Admissions Coordinator to join our team at Rennes Health & Rehab Center. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will play a critical role in planning, organizing, and implementing the overall admissions operation for our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing the admissions process to ensure a smooth transition for residents.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies and other stakeholders to secure authorizations and approvals for resident placements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare providers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the Social Services Department to ensure that the medically related emotional and social needs of residents are met and maintained on an individual basis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of experience in processing admissions and/or insurance authorizations.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
  • Knowledge of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelines.
