Job Title: Manual Test Engineer

Job Summary:
BAE Systems USA is seeking a skilled Manual Test Engineer to join our team. As a Manual Test Engineer, you will be responsible for performing system testing of components and integration testing through system and end-to-end evaluation. You will develop and implement test procedures and test reports, and support the software configuration management process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test procedures and test reports
  • Support the software configuration management process
  • Perform system testing of components and integration testing through system and end-to-end evaluation
  • Develop and implement test data and test acceptance criteria
  • Provide system testing expertise for test procedure documentation and review of test plans

Requirements:
  • Experience testing through a full system development life cycle, including implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes
  • Experience participating in formal test events, such as Acceptance Test, User Acceptance Test, Software Final Release Test, Maintenance Release Test, etc.
  • Experience collaborating with software developers to create formal test procedures
  • Experience working with physical equipment in a test lab environment
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, presenting test results verbally and reporting test results in writing
  • Experience utilizing elevated privileges to setup and execute manual test procedures
  • Strong communication skills and ability to successfully communicate with both management and technical personnel

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline, and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience using automated test tools
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages, such as Java, shell, Python, etc.
  • SAFe Agilist or DevOps certification

Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $156,860

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
