Manual Test Engineer

Job Summary:
BAE Systems USA is seeking a skilled Manual Test Engineer to join our team. As a Manual Test Engineer, you will be responsible for performing system testing of components and integration testing through system and end-to-end evaluation. You will develop and implement test procedures and test reports, and support the software configuration management process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test procedures and test reports
- Support the software configuration management process
- Perform system testing of components and integration testing through system and end-to-end evaluation
- Develop and implement test data and test acceptance criteria
- Provide system testing expertise for test procedure documentation and review of test plans
Requirements:
- Experience testing through a full system development life cycle, including implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes
- Experience participating in formal test events, such as Acceptance Test, User Acceptance Test, Software Final Release Test, Maintenance Release Test, etc.
- Experience collaborating with software developers to create formal test procedures
- Experience working with physical equipment in a test lab environment
- Experience collecting, analyzing, presenting test results verbally and reporting test results in writing
- Experience utilizing elevated privileges to setup and execute manual test procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to successfully communicate with both management and technical personnel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline, and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience using automated test tools
- Experience with programming and scripting languages, such as Java, shell, Python, etc.
- SAFe Agilist or DevOps certification
Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $156,860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
