Job Summary

We are seeking a geotechnical engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering and experience with project designs, technical proposals, and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Geotechnical Group and other departments as required.
  • Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, plans, technical specifications, and reports.
  • Perform geotechnical analyses based on site conditions and requirements.
  • Evaluate laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports.
  • Review and interpret data and test results.
  • Prepare field reports, internal correspondence, and engineering reports.
  • Follow company safety standards and provide all required permitting.
  • Contact vendors and research literature and regulatory requirements.
  • Support field instrumentation and monitoring activities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in professional organizations.

Requirements:

  • B.S. Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering, M.S. preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years of related experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to meet all pre-employment requirements.
