Job Overview

Norman Regional Health System seeks a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join its innovative cardiovascular program. This role involves working collaboratively with cardiologists and serving as a preceptor for new staff and students.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
  • Assess patient conditions, provide patient care, and establish a sterile environment.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff.
  • Maintain a strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
  • A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registered from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
  • Basic Life Support certification, with Advanced Life Support required within 6 months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
