Are you passionate about enhancing the lives of older adults through engaging activities? As a Therapeutic Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a joyful environment for our residents. This position offers a $2,500 Bonus in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role:
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for planning and conducting enjoyable activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation among residents. We seek an individual who is dependable, cheerful, energetic, empathetic, and patient.

Schedule: Full-time hours are available, working Monday through Friday with every third Saturday.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Compensation: Hourly wage ranges from $20 to $25, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and encourage resident participation in activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to residents outside of scheduled programs.
  • Maintain records of attendance and engagement levels.
  • Represent the organization positively at all times.
  • Exhibit courtesy and respect towards residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to foster enthusiasm and positivity in promoting activities.
  • Creative skills in arts, crafts, and games.
  • Effective communication skills for clear instruction delivery.
