Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage all administrative and communication tasks related to employee onboarding, offboarding, and internal transitions. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all responsibilities.
- Oversee annual compliance obligations, monitor participation, send reminders, and keep leadership informed as necessary.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate travel, drafting offer letters, and managing pre-employment documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring the integrity of HRIS data, personnel files, organizational charts, employment contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and currency of employee information.
- Prepare and submit personnel action forms and related employment documents.
- Address unemployment claims and requests for employment verification.
- Generate quarterly reports and analyze key HR metrics such as headcount and turnover.
- Support the Performance Development Process by tracking completion and pulling necessary reports.
- Manage vendor invoicing, ensuring timely submission and accurate coding.
- Administer supplemental benefits, providing policy information to employees and tracking completion of approval documents.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing the employee experience and collaborate with the HR team to implement effective solutions.
- Become proficient in our HRIS systems and guide employees in utilizing self-service features.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, educating them on HR policies, benefits, and internal procedures.
- Act as a resource for employee inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Support compliance with employment laws and regulations at all levels.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as requested by HR leadership.
- Research best practices and regulatory changes in Human Resources.
- Maintain the department calendar and provide regular updates to the HR team.
- Coordinate employee engagement and community events as needed.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in human resources; experience in the sports, events, or hospitality sectors is preferred.
