Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Parts Department Manager to join our team at Volvo Cars Brooklyn. As a key member of our sales and service department, you will be responsible for leading the parts department and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts management, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the parts department and supervising staff members
  • Accomplishing objectives through proper purchasing procedures and inventory control
  • Handling the parts inventory and tracking expenses
  • Working closely with the Service Manager to ensure timely ordering and stocking of parts
  • Training and supervising parts counter associates to meet department goals

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing stock levels, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of related experience in an automotive parts management position
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
