Avera is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to enhance our team.

Job Overview

  • The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for supporting RNs and LPNs with administrative and routine tasks, as well as aiding in departmental operations and patient care as assigned.
  • Deliver exceptional service and care to patients, residents, visitors, and colleagues consistently.
  • Perform all responsibilities in a manner that reflects the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera's values of hospitality, compassion, and stewardship.
  • Provide care/services in compliance with standards set by regulatory and accrediting bodies, as well as Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum age: 16 years.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

  • BLS Certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment.

Work Schedule

  • Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, rotating weekends and holidays; 16 hours biweekly.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is as follows. Actual pay will be based on experience.
