Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess comprehensive expertise and efficiently manage the operation of

Enhanced loop/Compact Scroll-Tufting Machines.

Essential Skills:

  • Effectively operates Enhanced loop/Compact Scroll tufting machines (including threading and/or replacing needles, changing cutting blades, aligning cutting blade blocks, replacing hooks, adjusting backing, managing roll tickets, and doffing).
  • Handles yarn breaks in creels and beams using an air splicer.
  • Conducts machine setup evaluations (production checklist, "deck board" and backing verification).
  • Performs quality assessments during production runs, collaborating with menders to rectify voids in carpets as necessary.
  • Maintains excellent organization and cleanliness in the workspace.
  • Adheres to all company and regulatory safety and environmental standards, including wearing appropriate safety gear, utilizing the correct tools and equipment, and practicing required safety measures for each task.
  • Completes other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
  • Previous experience with Enhanced loop/Compact Scroll -Tufting Machines is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and write in standard English and proficiently perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition and subtraction.
  • Capable of bending, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to comprehend graphic patterns.
