Role Overview:

The Myriad Hotel is on the lookout for a meticulous and committed Overnight Guest Services Coordinator to enhance guest satisfaction during the night shift by delivering attentive service and executing night auditing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist guests arriving during nighttime hours with a friendly and inviting attitude.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures with precision, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing timely and accurate solutions.
  • Collaborate with various hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Conduct night auditing tasks, including reconciling daily financial transactions and verifying guest account accuracy.
  • Prepare reports summarizing financial activities, occupancy rates, and other pertinent information for management review.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies in guest accounts and payments.
  • Generate and distribute timely reports to management and relevant departments.
  • Monitor hotel security and safety systems during overnight hours, reporting any incidents or issues.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or a related field is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in guest services or front desk operations is essential; night auditing experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and accounting software.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities to accurately reconcile financial transactions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities, ensuring professional interactions with guests.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight shifts.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Understanding of hotel operations, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
