Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mobile Culinary Support Specialist to join our corrections team. This role offers a unique opportunity to coordinate and prepare meals across various locations, ensuring high-quality dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, directing, and organizing of food service operations to deliver exceptional dining options to each assigned unit.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to guide menu development, food preparation, distribution, service, budgeting, purchasing, sanitation, safety practices, and staff development.
- Monitor meal temperature, portioning, and quality to ensure compliance with standards.
- Prepare meals directly as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Minimum of two years' experience in food service.
Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Preferred:
At least one year of supervisory experience.
Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
