Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Shift Supervisor to lead our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the execution of O&M shift operations at our electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of O&M staff, ensuring the execution of contractual obligations and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Program and monitor alarm responses and mechanical operations, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other facility occupants to ensure seamless operations and identify opportunities for contract extras.
  • Maintain and update all assigned systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement employee training and development plans, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Provide regular management reports to the O&M team and clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements, maintaining accurate records and documents.
  • Review all work and ensure performance in accordance with established safety procedures, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, adhering to company standards and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in operations and maintenance, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Ability to program and operate Building Automation Systems, with a basic knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and training entry-level personnel.
  • Ability to deal with customers and others at all levels, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship-building.
  • Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies, with a commitment to working in a quality environment.
