Salary and Benefits
The estimated weekly payment for this role is $1243.34, which includes hourly wages, meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Job Description
This position involves working closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students' academic and social development. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The Speech Language Pathologist will also develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs. Direct therapy services will be provided to students in individual and group settings, and progress will be monitored and documented. Additionally, training and resources will be offered to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, applicants must possess a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or a related field. Speech Therapist Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. A state license is required to start the assignment. Preferred qualifications include certification from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and previous experience working in a school setting, early childhood, or pediatrics. Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
