Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare technical specifications for various security system components to interface, be repaired, or be replaced on existing AMAG and Pelco systems.
  • Coordinate, integrate, and assist in the management of technical efforts to ensure that identified needs are transformed into effective and life-cycle optimized systems.
  • Confirm that the system's definition and design reflect the requirements for all systems elements (hardware, software, data, facilities, etc.).
  • Work in a multifaceted team with stakeholders (engineering, logistics, manufacturing, contractor, program leadership) in problem-solving efforts for designated aspects of complex problems with many competing objectives, variables, and constraints.
  • Document solutions in relation to the technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
  • Develop and review various technical documentation, including change management documentation, presentation materials, and white papers.
  • Communicate with stakeholders across program offices, fleet, and industry stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance; Interim Secret needed to start.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Experience monitoring, maintaining, enhancing, and managing all system (software/hardware/network/configuration and data management) operations and system administration, integration, and data transfer for modeling and simulation tools, architecture tools.
  • Ability to provide client consulting and training on the design and use of the network systems and architectures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders of varying technical knowledge and viewpoints.
  • May develop and execute contingency plans for network-related hardware failures, including isolated and major outages.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in systems engineering, Model-based Systems Engineering, and related areas, to include managing teams/projects delivering solutions for missile warning or other national security space mission systems.
  • Experience monitoring and tracking the as-is Architectures, which includes fielded and programmed architectures focused on programs, projects, and their interfaces, both external and internal.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition process highly desired.

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis, and there is no deadline. SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
