Job Summary:

SpecialtyRx, a leading provider of pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities, is seeking an experienced Overnight Pharmacist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, ensuring the right medication, dosage, and administration for our residents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications, with proper labeling and documentation.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication-related queries and concerns.
  • Supervise the preparation of medications, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements:

  • Active Pharmacist license with the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy.
  • Previous experience in Long Term Care, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and effectively, with strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Frameworks LTC system and PLUS.
