Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Character Performer to join our team at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. As a Character Performer, you will lead and/or perform in Character themed shows, engaging audiences with your charisma and energy. You will also be responsible for promoting a fun and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, providing information about our recreation facilities and activities, and serving as a host for live events and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in Character themed shows, using improvisation and basic scripts as needed
  • Engage audiences and promote a fun and welcoming atmosphere
  • Provide information about recreation facilities and activities
  • Serve as a host for live events and activities
  • Encourage and recruit guests to participate in activities
  • Prepare for shows and maintain equipment and supplies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of customer or sales experience
  • Previous public performance, acting, and entertainment experience
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience entertaining children and large groups of people
