Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations and management of the afterschool site
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Plan and schedule daily activities for enrollees
- Supervise and coach part-time Group Leaders
- Manage supply expenses, inventory, ordering, and storage management
- Implement and track monthly safety drills
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Portray a positive role model for youth and their peers
- Qualify for Texas Department of Health and Human Services state license
- Pass background checks
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Education: High School Degree/G.E.D. or higher
- At least 1-year previous experience in childcare or other recognized facility with a bachelor's degree OR 2 years of full-time experience working in licensed childcare with at least 70 credit hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management without a bachelor's degree
