Job DescriptionWe offer a range of developmentally appropriate programs and activities designed to support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child in our care.
- Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans and activities that promote the holistic development of children, including language, literacy, math, science, art, music, and social skills.
- Child Supervision: Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, both indoors and outdoors.
- Individualized Support: Recognize and accommodate the individual needs and developmental levels of each child, including those with special needs or learning challenges.
- Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, behaviors, and any concerns or milestones.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel comfortable, respected, and encouraged to explore and learn.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations and policies, including maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, administering first aid when necessary, and promoting healthy habits.
- Documentation and Assessment: Keep accurate records of children's progress, behaviors, and achievements through observations, assessments, and developmental portfolios.
We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, and benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
