Job Summary:

The Night Auditor is a critical role at Residence Inn Waldorf, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work, including front desk operations during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process for guests.
  • Financial Record Keeping: Prepare and balance financial records, including daily reports and transactions, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct security walks and ensure that all areas of the hotel are locked and secured.
  • Guest Services: Handle guest requests and issues, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all guest needs are met.
  • Communication: Maintain radio contact with other associates during the shift and ensure that all communication is clear and concise.
  • Training and Development: Train new Night Auditors as requested by management and participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
  • Skills: Knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in Windows operating systems, and ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
