Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School-Based Therapist to join our team at Child & Family Focus, Inc. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide essential mental health services to children and adolescents in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to individuals, families, and groups through various treatment modalities, including behavior modification, individual, group, and family therapies.
  • Develop and implement crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive client documentation, addressing specific needs and progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to provide and facilitate care, adhering to policies, procedures, and objectives of Child & Family Focus and the DCIU.
  • Coordinate referrals and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Serve as a liaison between Child & Family Focus, school district staff, and the DCIU, focusing on customer service, community partnerships, and advocacy for students in need.
  • Utilize electronic health records and implement the 5 core values of Trauma-Informed Care in all work practices.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in human services or a related field, including psychology, counseling, or social work.
  • One or more years of clinical experience.
  • Two or more years of experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Preferred qualifications include licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
