Radiology Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our radiology services, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Develop and implement quality assurance and performance improvement programs to ensure optimal patient care and radiation safety.
• Provide leadership and guidance to radiologic technologists, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care, radiation safety, and quality assurance metrics.
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide education and training to radiologic technologists on new technologies, procedures, and best practices.
• Investigate and resolve patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets.

• Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (CNMT) issued by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a recognized imaging modality, with proven technical knowledge and leadership skills.
