Insurance Account Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Ancillary Account Manager I to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating the servicing of mid-size and large accounts and key brokers, with a focus on client retention and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales, service, and underwriting teams to effectively retain business and demonstrate working knowledge of products, service workflows, and underwriting principles.
- Support Account Executives and coordinate work product of Marketing Service Representatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry in sales support, marketing support, underwriting, customer service, or sales/account management.
- Current state general agent license or obtain within 90 days of starting in the role.
- Group insurance product knowledge with life and disability, and supplemental health knowledge preferred.
- Presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, project management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
This is a flex role working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
