We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Operations Engineer to enhance our team of dedicated problem solvers committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Security Operations Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring that all processes are secure and efficient. You will work closely with clients to design and implement solutions using Kubernetes or Docker, and participate in the creation of CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless software updates. Additionally, you will engage in applying GitOps principles for software delivery, ensuring that security best practices are integrated throughout the development and continuous delivery processes. You will also oversee cloud deployment activities to guarantee compliance with security standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a relevant field
- Expertise in developing and implementing cluster and application lifecycles
- Proficient in AWS and other cloud technologies
- Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
- Networking knowledge
- Familiarity with Service-Mesh technologies, such as Istio
- Experience with version control systems, particularly GitLab
- Proficient in software development using CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of programming languages including Java, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Python
- Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
- Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
- Skilled in AWS Cloud Services, GitLab, Ansible, Maven, and Gradle
- Experience with Unit and Integration Testing
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles
- Able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in writing custom Helm Charts
- Basic knowledge of Big Data technologies
- Multilingual programming skills
- Familiarity with automation languages such as Python or GoLang
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Secret security clearance

- Salary range: $90,000 - $170,000, based on experience and skills
