La Quinta Inn & Suites Fairbanks is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, while providing exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to hotel management and department heads.
- Reconcile all credit card transactions, financial records, and occupancy percentages.
- Complete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requested.
- Ensure all guests have an exceptional experience at the property.
- Respond to inquiries, process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, resolve guest complaints, and other front office duties as required.
- Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required.
- Flexible overnight hours are required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Proficiency with computers is required; experience with reservation and accounting software is desired.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
